If you’re wearing a tailored or button down blouse, a short necklace inside the collar is best. For a strapless top, the best choice is a necklace that doesn’t conflict with the top edge. When wearing a cowl neck, multiple long strands are a good option. Necklaces for a scoop neck will vary depending on the depth of the scoop. A more plunging line requires jewelry inside the neckline while a more conservative line goes with either a bolder piece over the neckline or a shorter one that lies within the scoop. Whichever neckline you wear, choose a necklace that doesn’t compete with the line of the garment, but complements it, and flatters you.
