Boho Chic

Floppy hats, headbands, fringe...what decade does that bring to mind? Originally a favorite of the '60's and '70's generation, it serves an interesting fashion niche today. Updated and enlivened, it's Boho Chic!

The Bohemian look encompasses eclectic style with its patterned flowing skirts, headbands atop braids or disheveled hair , hippie boots and sandals, and layered bracelets and necklaces.

Clothing retails including Free People and People Outfitters offer modern versions of this diverse style. Not to be outdone by the clothiers, jewelry designers put forth an array of choices.

Alex and Ani has a Vintage 66 collection to start off. There is also a variety of feather bangles prevalent in this free spirited look.

An Italian design from Mi Moneda uses interchangeable monedas (coins), frames, and pendants that can be worn in multiples for a great layered jewelry approach.

Don't be afraid to try different combinations - you really can't get it wrong if it feels right! It's all a part of Boho Chic!

Jewelry seen here available at Kay Cameron Jewelers, Sayville, NY
